Turned to Stone

I have long credited the Marilyn picture to Norman Parkinson but I'm not so sure - no doubt somebody will be able to put me right. Anyhow, I photographed this sample piece of column in Ancaster stone made for a client and the resemblance was quite striking and, I thought, worthy of sharing with you. MORE CURVES !

Ooh I don't know, what these stonemason chappies get up to. Marilyn Monroe obviously figured very prominently in the fevered adolescent minds of our yoof, but I also remember getting into trouble with a mate's mum when we were overheard fancying Mandy Rice Davies. Well, we would, wouldn't we?

I stumbled out of a trattoria in the old port area of Genoa the other Sunday lunchtime and one of the three (south American) prostitutes in the alley said to me "Hey guy, wanna lose some of that weight you've just put on?"

It just looks like a bit of carved stone to me. Does that mean my manly urges are being sated and I don't have suffer from mind-wandering when I see anything less sharp than a hypodermic?
